The Pottery Painting Process
When you arrive at our studio, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and offered refreshments before we begin. Our instructors will introduce you to the materials and explain the painting process, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident.
Next, you will select your pottery piece from our collection. Take your time choosing - this will become a unique piece of functional art that you have created with your own hands. Once you have made your selection, the creative journey begins.
Throughout the session, you can experiment with different techniques including solid colours, patterns, stencilling, and freehand designs. Our team is always on hand to offer guidance, share tips, and help you achieve the look you envision.
After the session, we carefully glaze and fire your piece in our professional kiln. This process transforms the paint into a permanent, durable finish that will last for years. Your finished piece will be ready for collection within 7-10 days.
